About Joy Dogs
Kristin Elizabeth and her Rescue Dog Bran
Dogs are healers, connectors, and teachers. Their love transcends, is joyful, and sublime.
The mission of Joy Dogs is to share uplifting stories of how Dogs makes our lives more joyful, and in turn richer, and more meaningful.
Joy Dogs showcases the deep healing capacity of dogs, their ability to connect humanity, and our responsibility in caring for these noble companions. To do this, Joy Dogs asks people a simple question:
“Can you share something about your Dog that brings you Joy?”
I have been honored and humbled to hear peoples’ stories. One woman shared how she met her husband through her Dog while living in Paris. Another woman beamed as she described how her Dog talks to her, and makes her feel less lonely. A Father shared how their new family Dog is helping his teenage son with depression and mental health—another woman shared how her dog helps ease her anxiety.
Each conversation has been illuminating and uplifting. It has been fascinating to experience how people’s energy changes as they talk about their Dogs. They become lighter, and more joyful.
A Dog’s love is the purest form of love. It transcends age, gender, ethnicity, sexual and political orientation, and nationality. Dogs are healers, connectors, and teachers. Their love transcends, and therefore is sublime.
